The Arboretum is located in the Rochester Village Park on Ebel Drive. The Arboretum will feature trees and shrubs native to the state of Illinois. The Arboretum includes an outdoor classroom that will be available for use by teachers, scout leaders and others. Trails will allow visitors to stroll through the area and to see examples of many kinds of trees that they may wish to utilize in their home landscapes. Plants that thrive in moist areas will be featured in a portion of the arboretum.
The arboretum area is seeded to minimize soil erosion.
